As of August 31, 2026:
- There will no longer be a “lapsed” status. Credentials will either be in active or expired status.
- You may re-certify within the first three (3) months of the expired status. After the first three months, you must re-apply for the credential.
- You will need to contact VACB for the re-application if your credential is expired.
